ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE -AI

WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE:

Artificial intelligence is a field, which combines computer science and robust datasets, to enable problem-solving

Artificial Intelligence was first coined in a Dartmouth College conference proposal in 1955. In 1970s AI was introduced into health field, that is ditection of infections in blood and treatments.

These applications involved in diagnosis and treatment recommendations of particular diseases.

Freenome is the company using AI, next generation blood tests for early cancer detection.early cancer detection blood tests tailored to different types of cancer by looking at biomarkers from both tumor and non-tumor-derived sources to detect the body’s earliest warning signs of cancer.

MACHINE LEARNING:

A technique for fitting models to data and to ‘learn’ by training models with data. Machine learning is one of the most common forms of AI. Now a days 70% of companies surveyed were employing machine learning. Mechine learning

AI APPLICATIONS IN HEALTH CARE:

Finding new links between genetic codes, powering surgery-assisting robots, automating administrative tasks, personalizing treatment options

7. Predictive Analytics for Patient Care. ...

8. Remote Patient Monitoring.

FUTURE AI APPLICATIONS IN HEALTH CARE:

1. Identification of new potential treatments and therapies.

2. Introduce new drugs in the market.

3.Improvise and success rate of drugs.

4. Aim to improve the interaction between the doctor/physician and patients, monitor medicine consumption

5. AI-based interventions have technology that can track the rate of virus spread, how it is likely to develop in future, identify high-risk patients, and develop real-time solutions for controlling it.

6. Reduces the work load of the healthcare workers and the risk to their life, especially in times of epidemics via quick detection of infection.

7. This would help both patient and doctor to adopt these tools by analysing the risk involved, and it would be easy for healthcare experts to deliver operational efficiency and measurable progress in patient results.
